UNMETNEEDSROUNDTABLE.ORG is a website designed to support the creation and ongoing facilitation of Unmet Needs Roundtables in response to federally or locally declared disasters in the United States. Unmet Needs Roundtables, commonly used in all federally declared disasters, are essential mechanisms for meeting the unmet basic human needs of disaster victims on a case-by-case basis by providing cash assistance and/or leveraging other community resources to support the sustainable recovery of the disaster survivor. Roundtables allow individual or agency-based donors to work collaboratively with human service case management providers to determine how donated funds can be used most effectively to support disaster victims in attaining long-term, sustainable recovery from their disaster-caused needs.
